Sonic

I did not conceive the Sonic ‘Two Guys’ campaign. But I was fortunate enough to be able to add my voice to the mix to keep the work humming along.
Below are just a few of the spots I got the chance to bring to life and believe still hold up. All presented in glorious standard definition.

Sonic’s ‘Two Guys’ wore their seat belts in every commercial. Which caught the attention of an administrator (and spouse of a Sonic franchisee) at a high school in Wisconsin. Which then led to an assignment of “Put the guys on a poster to remind high school students to buckle up.” And while we appreciated the suggestion and fully supported the initiative, we took a bit of a different direction in an effort to better connect with our audience.

As much fun as TV was to concept, radio provided more toys to play with. Allowing us to stretch well beyond the visual confines of two people in a car parked at a Sonic Drive-In.

What happens when you unleash sour on something that’s usually sweet? Anarchy, that’s what. So for this Sonic LTO we went rock ‘n’ roll with some old school wild postings. Which are way better than new school social channel postings.
